Paddle down an endless river in a canoe, one paddle in each hand. The current always carries you forward: paddle with both arms to speed up and with one to turn to that side. Dodge rocks, logs, rapids, side currents, sharp bends and narrow passages. It keeps getting faster. Crashes damage the hull and, if it breaks, you capsize: you have 3 lives.
